I went to see Dr. Barbisan for a complication with a Trismus/TMJ condition. Dr. Barbisan took her time to investigate and assess the nature of my issue and advise a conservative plan of care that we both agreed with. She is knowledgeable, considerate, and provides excellent patient care. I would highly recommend her for any specialized oral concerns .

Maritza Landes

Dr. Barbisan is a miracle worker in my eyes. I suffered for 6 years with oral pain on the roof of my mouth. Everywhere I went including neurologists just wanted to throw pills at me and have me go away. Dr. B did an extremely thorough examination of me and prescribed an oral appliance with a compounded pain med. I have been pain free since I last saw her.

I had resigned to living the rest of my life with a tube or Orajel in my pocket. She went to Harvard and she thinks outside of the box. She listened to me and believed me when no other dentists did. I cannot say enough great things about her. If you’re lost and in pain, please don’t give up. Go see Dr. B. She’s amazing!!! Thank you so much Dr. you have given me a piece of my life back.

Alex Murray

Dr. was very caring and explained everything in detail. I went to see her because I was in a lot of pain from my jaw. She saw me and treated me for TMJ. She was very caring and got me back on track.

The initial assessment consists of:

2. Comprehensive physical exam: palpation of the head, neck and jaw muscles, TMJ evaluation, bite assessment, cranial nerve screening,

3. Imaging exam: if needed additional imaging exams will be recommended, including radiographs, CT scan and MRIs.

4. Diagnosis and Treatment Discussion: a treatment plan will be individualized and tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring the best possible care for your specific condition. We focus on delivering effective solutions that not only prioritize your health and well-being but are also cost-effective, making quality care accessible and sustainable for you.
